WAKE UP INSIDE DEVTAV
We have been reading and hearing many stories from the very childhood where we find war between Devtas and Asuras. By hearing and reading these stories we are surprised to note the nature of Asuras as to how one could do such an undesired and irrelevant works. At the end of the story when we come to know that particular Devta killed particular Asura at last, we feel great happiness in our mind.
Have you ever thought of these stories seriously? If you go deeply into these, you will find that these Devtas and Asuras are no other than like the currents rising up in the mind of man i.e. of Devta and Asura’s strength. Lord Krishna has made a mention of these in the Bhagvad Geeta. Both Devtas and Asuras are present in our mind. Always, in our life, both go on fighting themselves at every moment. Meaning of Devta is: Satvik situation of our mind, goodness’s, glorious thoughts, good deeds, piousness, courage, hard work, love, prayer, Sadhana, devotion, sacrifice and peacefulness. These are our properties as well the inner state of mind. On the other hand, meaning of Assuras is: the state of our Tamsik mind, undesired thoughts, laziness, unrealistic, quarrelsome, anger, hate, mischief, deceiving, altering, lying, drunkenness, rejection, leisure, defeat etc. These are the properties of Assuras in our inner state.
All the time and on every turning point in life, there is battle between the two. When there is a state of Devtas defeating Assuras power, we are near the Guru and God. On the other hand, when there is a state of Assuras defeating Devtavs, we are away from Guru and God. Try to understand this with an example. When in the morning, moon and stars are setting, singing of birds is heard, the sleeping eyes open up, a feeling inside of the sign of morning rising up - this is the time when there is a fight between Devtas and Assuras. The beauty of morning has its own importance. In all direction, chanting of Mantras, Dhayana, Japas and Bhakti are in progress yet on the other hand sleep has its own attraction, lazy eyes open and close. There is a kind of fight inside. The mind wants to leave the bed, get up, take the bath, and perform Dhayana & Puja. On the other hand, the state of Assuras pressurizes again to go to sleep. This state is carried on to some extent. The person whose state of Devtas win, he leaves the bed and gets up but whose Assuras win, he goes to sleep again even with open eyes, rejecting the signals inside. His hands are empty both by way of loosing morning time as well as health.
Lucky are those people whose inside fight leads to the state of Devtav i.e. they go on reaching near the God. Those who are attracted by Assuras state are also of two types. One’s who feel bad in mind for the state of their sleepy nature but assure themselves to win over it in future. Others, who are only satisfied with their state of Assuras or you can say there was no fight inside their mind. They are happy with un-education, laziness, un-peacefulness etc. The signs of progress in their life are dumped. In fact, the man has been blessed with this life to become Devta and not Assura. Therefore the inside Devtav should be woken up.
Excellent information. It is truly said that the gods, demons and humans are considered children of Brahma but because of difference in thinking, understanding and attitude, each understand the same knowledge in different ways.Truly speaking these variations are a part of diversity which is universally present in creation. They arise due to differences in our karmas and influence of the guans. Our sadguru Archna didiji guide us to follow the path of wisdom and think positive. Hari om
