Positive Self Expectancy
Life is a self-fulfilling prophecy. A person usually gets what he actively expects. The fears and worries turn into anxiety. The resistance levels are lowered. Your mind and body are trying to comply with your instructions. If your mental expectancy is healthy and creative, your body will seek to display a general feeling with better health, energy and a condition of well-being. You are to prepare yourself physically as well as mentally for the demands of winning. The ability to attract the support and cooperation of others is a natural by-product of positive self-expectancy.
MEDITATION SATGURU ARCHNA DIDI suggests the better ways of doing the things by following the below enumerated action plan:-
Wake Up Happy - One of the best ways to develop positive self-expectancy is to start early in life. Wake up to music, alarm or sing in the shower. Read an inspirational message. Listen to a motivational tape on your way to work.
Self-talk - It is another good day for me. Things usually work out my way. Next time, I will do better.
Something Good - Find something good in all of your personal relationships and accentuate the blessings or lessons in even the most trying circumstances.
Stay Relaxed - Learn to stay relaxed and friendly no matter how much you are under. Instead of being unhelpfully critical, be constructively helpful. When tension or anxiety enter your room, lower the pitch and tone of your voice. Breathe slowly and deeply. Sit back and relax your muscles. Respond calmly to problems with suggested solutions.
Health - Think well of your health. Cure what is curable. Prevent what is preventable and enjoy the rest. Project your own health conditions to others. Realize that your daily conversation is the automatic read out of your thoughts and sub-conscious emotions. Feel the difference in nutrition and exercise program.
Problems and Opportunities- Make a list of your most pressing problems. Write a one sentence definition of the problem. View it as an opportunity to challenge your creativity. View the solutions as if you were advising your friends.
Dealing with Subordinates- In dealing with children or subordinates, ensure their proper health and environment. Focus their attention towards the rewards of being well and productive.
Expectations from Others - Expect the best from others too. Two of the keys to leadership are encouragement and praise. Your positive expectancy about your associates and family members. It is contagious.
Realistic and Optimistic - you can be realistic and optimistic at the same time by realistically examining the facts in a situation while remaining optimistic about your ability to contribute to a solution or the best among many alternatives.
